Anne M. Finucane, Global Strategy and Marketing Officer, Bank of America

Anne Finucane

Anne M. Finucane is Global Strategy and Marketing officer at Bank of America, and is a member of the company’s executive management team. During her 18 years at Bank of America and its legacy firms, Finucane has served as a senior advisor to four of the company’s chief executive officers and boards of directors.

As leader of the bank’s marketing, research, advertising, and communications organization, Finucane is responsible for the strategic positioning of the company and its lines of business around the world. She directs the company’s engagement and position on global and domestic policies, current and proposed legislation, and other public affairs issues affecting Bank of America globally. She also oversees the company’s corporate social responsibility program, which includes a long-term, industry-leading commitment to economic and community development; a 10-year, $2 billion charitable giving goal through the Bank of America Charitable Foundation; and a $50 billion environmental business initiative that follows the fulfillment of the bank’s 10-year, $20 billion environmental goal more than four years ahead of schedule.

Active in the community, Finucane serves on both corporate and nonprofit boards of directors including CVS Caremark, Partners Healthcare, Carnegie Hall, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the International Center of Journalists, the American Ireland Fund, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the Special Olympics Board of Trustees. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Finucane has won numerous industry accolades, including the New York Women In Communications 2013 Matrix Award, which recognizes outstanding lifetime achievement in the communications industry.
