NYU Langone Health announced today that more than $2 million was raised at the Bank of America Annual Art Auction on December 13 in Manhattan. The auction, which included works from the company’s own collection, was conducted by Sotheby’s and featured prominent artwork from Andy Warhol, Norman Rockwell and David Hockney, among others. All proceeds from the auction will be used to expand NYU Langone’s services to help support veterans and their families.

Runners who entered the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon non-guaranteed entry drawing will be notified of their selection status today. A record 44,341 individuals crossed the finish line in 2017, and a similar size field is expected to run through Chicago’s 29 neighborhoods on October 7, 2018. Demand for entry into the Chicago Marathon remains high.

Bank of America, (RED) and Amazon are joining forces this World AIDS Day and throughout the holiday season to raise awareness and funds to end the transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies in sub-Saharan Africa. The three organizations are combining their resources through (SHOPATHON)RED, creating an easy way for consumers to get involved and get us one step closer to an AIDS-free generation.

Bank of America today announced an additional $20 million in funding available through the Tory Burch Foundation Capital Program to connect more women entrepreneurs to affordable loans, administered by community development financial institutions (CDFIs). Since launching in January 2014, more than $30 million in capital has been deployed to more than 1,400 women entrepreneurs, bringing the total capital program commitment to $50 million. more...

Bank of America announces that the company will provide grant funding to 21 major art restoration projects in six countries, through the 2017 Bank of America Art Conservation Project. A selection of the historically and culturally significant works in danger of deterioration that will benefit from the grants includes:

Today, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced that 15-time world champion, four-time Paralympian and seven-time Chicago Marathon champion Tatyana McFadden (USA) and 20-time world champion medalist and four-time Paralympian Marcel Hug (SUI) will return to compete for the top spot on the podium at the 40th annual event.

Bank of America today announced that it is directing $1 million in funding from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to aid the victims of Hurricane Irma, including $250,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, with the remainder to be allocated when an assessment is completed regarding specific recovery needs.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced today that two-time Olympic medalist Galen Rupp and American marathon debut record holder Jordan Hasay will lead a deep field of American contenders at the 40th annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Adding an exclamation point to the elite athlete field, 1984 Olympic gold medalist and 1985 Chicago Marathon champion Joan Benoit Samuelson will toe the line in an attempt to set an age group world record.

Bank of America today announced that Michael Lawrence has been named market president, serving as the company’s enterprise leader in St. Louis.

In this role, Lawrence will work across the region to connect businesses, families and individuals to Bank of America’s banking and investment teams.
