Bank of America continues to make its mark as one of the world’s leading corporate supporters of the arts, and announces that grant applications are now open for the 2017 Bank of America Arts Conservation Project. The company welcomes and encourages applications from nonprofit cultural institutions with art requiring conservation. Today, Bank of America Merrill Lynch opens applications for its inaugural Returning Talent programme in Dublin. Individuals who have been out of work for 12 months or longer – for example stay-at-home parents or carers, or someone who has chosen to take a career break – are invited to apply via Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Careers site. The Council for Responsible Sport announced today that the 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon has been awarded evergreen level certification for achieving 57 of the best-practice standards offered in the council’s certification program for social and environmental responsibility at sporting events.

Bank of America marks the 20th anniversary of the Museums on Us program with the announcement of new institutions being added to the participating museum roster. Museums on Us provides Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust credit and debit cardholders free general admission to experience more than 175 of the country’s most prominent cultural institutions across 109 cities in 33 states on the first full weekend of every month.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon today announced that more than 10,000 runners raised $16.9 million through the 2016 Charity Program. Since the charity program was officially established in 2002, more than 106,000 runners have raised over $167 million for local, national and global causes.

Bank of America has awarded an Art Conservation Project grant to Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University to restore “Window” by Richard Diebenkorn. As a unique opportunity to support the intersection of art and science, funding from this highly competitive global arts conservation program will allow further research into an underpainting that was discovered using a digital infrared camera by a Stanford-based art fellow at Cantor’s Art + Science Lab.

(RED) and Bank of America are once again joining forces on Thursday, December 1, World AIDS Day, to help end mother-to-child transmission of HIV in Africa. Since January 2014, Bank of America has contributed $10 million to the Global Fund through its partnership with (RED), and earlier this year announced its partnership extension that will bring the overall total to fight AIDS to $20 million by 2020.

Bank of America has announced that it will provide funding to 21 projects in six countries as part of the company’s 2016 global Art Conservation Project. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon continues to provide significant growth to Chicago’s economy, with the 2015 race delivering an estimated $277 million in total business impact to the city, an increase of more than 9 percent compared to 2014. The findings come from the latest economic impact study reported today by Bank of America.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon today announced Iain Jones as the sixth annual recipient of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Top Individual Fundraiser Award.

The award was established in 2010 to honor the Bank of America Chicago Marathon participant who raised the most funds for charity through the annual world-class event. As a member of Team World Vision, Jones raised more than $65,000 during the 2015 event.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon today announced that more than 10,000 runners raised a record-breaking $18.7 million through the 2015 Charity Program. The overall fundraising from the 2015 event surpassed the previous event record by $1 million. Since the charity program was officially established in 2002, more than 96,000 runners have raised more than $150 million for local, national and global causes.
