Bank of America today announced that Gary C. Jankowitz has been named market president, serving as the company’s enterprise leader in Kansas City. Jankowitz succeeds Jack Ovel, who led the market since 2013 and has chosen to focus solely on business development for U.S. Trust.

Bank of America, in partnership with (RED)®, today launched a nationwide campaign featuring photos of healthy HIV-positive mothers and their HIV-negative children in Zambia. The images, taken by internationally renowned photographer Rankin, illustrate the impact of the bank’s commitment to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa by showing some of the real faces of an AIDS-free generation.

Runners who entered the 2015 Bank of America Chicago Marathon lottery will be notified today of their selection status. This year’s field will be comprised of runners selected through the lottery as well as participants who qualified for one of five guaranteed entry opportunities. Lottery entrants will be informed of their status throughout the day via email. The world-class event will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

The education of some of the UK’s most disadvantaged young people has received a boost through a donation to Ark of over £100,000 after works by some of Britain’s most influential artists went under Sotheby’s hammer last night. The auctioned pieces were donated by Bank of America Merrill Lynch from its corporate art collection and included works by British artists, David Hockney and Henry Moore.

Today the Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced that runners can enter the lottery for the 2015 event on March 10. Runners who qualify for a guaranteed entry will also be able to register at this time. The lottery system, introduced last year, resulted in a record number of finishers – 40,659 – at the 2014 Chicago Marathon. The 38th annual Chicago Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 11 in Grant Park.
