Gary G. Lynch is a vice chairman of Bank of America and a member of the executive management team. He is responsible for advising the bank’s senior leadership and board of directors, with a focus on international regulatory, corporate governance and shareholder-related matters.
Until January 1, 2016, Lynch served as global general counsel for Bank of America. A former chief of the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission, his experience also includes service as global general counsel and vice chairman of Morgan Stanley, based in New York and London; global general counsel and executive vice chairman at Credit Suisse First Boston; and partner with Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP.
Lynch was awarded the Presidential Rank Award by President Ronald Reagan; other recognition includes the Americas Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Financial Law Review and the Diversity Leadership Award from the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
Lynch is a member of the board of trustees of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Bingham Development Board of the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law.
