Bank of America Names Constantine Andrews Connecticut Market Development Manager

HARTFORD, Conn., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America Connecticut President Susan A. Rottner today announced that Constantine "Dean" Andrews will serve as market development manager for the state. Prior to his appointment, Andrews served as senior credit products officer for Bank of America's Commercial Bank in Hartford.

Andrews will report to Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Market Development Executive Joseph R. Gianni, who previously served in this position and is also based in Hartford.

In his new role, Andrews will align and deliver Bank of America's marketing and charitable resources to meet constituent and community needs across Connecticut. Andrews will lead the planning and execution of sponsorship, philanthropic, community and business development initiatives locally.

Further, Andrews will work closely with Rottner and Gianni to coordinate market strategy in Connecticut.

"Dean's broad experience as a banker and his involvement in the community give him ideal credentials for this position," said Rottner. "As market development manager, Dean will serve as Bank of America's bridge to the community. We understand that building healthy communities is essential to success in business. Andrews, a CFA charterholder, received an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's Degree from Trinity College. Over the course of his career, Andrews has worked for Sovereign Bank, Hartford Steam Boiler Group and BankBoston.

Andrews is active in the Hartford community and has been involved with several local organizations, including the MetroHartford Chamber of Commerce, Riverfront Recapture and the Greater Hartford Arts Council. He recently completed a term as board member of the Urban League of Greater Hartford and currently serves in several alumni leadership roles at Trinity College.

Andrews was born in Hartford and currently resides in West Hartford with his wife, Cheryl, and their children, Sofi, George and Anastasia.
