Christine Katziff is the Chief Audit Executive of Bank of America and a member of the company’s executive management team reporting directly to the Audit Committee of the board of directors and the company’s CEO. She leads the global division of Corporate Audit and Credit Review that covers the company’s business strategies, all business segments, technology, operations, risk framework, financial management and credit standards in support of Bank of America’s focus on responsible growth.

Katziff and her team help drive the company’s strategy across the eight lines of businesses that serve people, companies and institutions around the world. This work includes independent assessment of a wide range of topics affecting the financial services industry, including cybersecurity, financial and capital management, technology, operational performance and environmental, social and governance. Katziff and her team are recognized industry leaders in using innovation, automation and other technology to proactively help the company stay ahead of risks. Prior to Bank of America, she held management positions at financial services and public accounting firms.

Katziff is heavily involved in diversity and inclusion efforts across the company and is a strong supporter of developing women leaders. She is the executive vice chair of Bank of America’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, providing strategic direction, for diversity and inclusion efforts, setting priorities and driving progress to ensure that all employees are comfortable in being their true selves at work.

Katziff is also the executive sponsor for Bank of America’s Investing in Women Leadership Council, a committee of senior leaders who are championing the company’s investment in women and leading cultural change to positively impact female employees around the world. She helped launch – and continues to lead – the annual Global Women’s Conference, which brings together over 300 female leaders to brainstorm on best practices for the advancement of women across the company.

Katziff is committed to serving the local community and is a passionate advocate for wellness and higher education. She serves as Vice Chair on the board of directors for Novant Health, the American Heart Association’s National Go Red Leadership Council and is the past Chair of the Charlotte Go Red for Women Campaign. She is also on the board of trustees for UNC Charlotte and Bryant University.

Katziff is the executive sponsor of the Charlotte market and serves on the board of directors of Charlotte Center City Partners, a non-profit organization focused on making uptown Charlotte a great place to live, work and visit.
