Soofian Zuberi is president and co-head of Global Markets for Bank of America and is a member of the company’s executive management team. Global Markets for Bank of America provides clients with a world-leading platform for sales and trading capabilities across debt, equity, commodity, and foreign exchanges markets globally.
Zuberi has more than three decades of leadership experience across global markets, capital raising, and client advisory. He most recently served as Global Head of Equities at Bank of America and Chairman & CEO of Bank of America Securities, Inc. for four years, driving accelerated growth of the equities business and operations. He previously led Global Equity Sales, leading the delivery of a unified client experience across cash, derivatives, structuring, and prime financing. Zuberi began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1993 as a Corporate Finance Analyst in New York, later relocating to Hong Kong where he held senior leadership roles including Head of Asia Equity Syndicate, Head of Asia Pacific Equity Capital Markets, and Head of Asia Pacific Global Markets Sales.
