Bank of America Names Karen Zuber President of Bakersfield

Bank of America has named Karen Zuber as President of Bank of America Bakersfield.

As Bakersfield president, Zuber will be responsible for connecting the banking and investment resources offered through the bank’s eight lines of business to companies, families and individuals across the Bakersfield area. She will also lead the effort to deploy Bank of America’s resources to address social concerns, strengthen economic opportunity, and build strong communities, as well as support the health, safety and engagement of local teammates.

“Over her 23 year career at Bank of America, Karen has established deep relationships with teammates, clients and the Bakersfield community. In this new role, she will help ensure we continue to be a great partner in Bakersfield,” said Brian Moynihan, chief executive officer, Bank of America.

Since joining Bank of America in 1998 as a member of the Consumer Banking team, Zuber has held leadership roles in Financial Center management and was a Small Business Banker prior to becoming the Bakersfield Market Executive. Zuber is active in the community, serving on the board for Bakersfield College Foundation, Kern Economic Development Foundation, Business Research and Education Center for CSU Bakersfield, and Central California Health Center.
