Merrill Lynch Wins Money Management Institute’s Advisory Solution of the Year for Merrill Lynch One
Merrill Lynch was awarded “Advisory Solutions Sponsor Product of the Year” by the Money Management Institute (MMI) for its investment advisory platform, Merrill Lynch One. The award category recognizes the introduction of the year’s most innovative solution and its contribution to the growth of the wealth management industry.
Established in 1997, MMI is a national association and leading voice for global financial services organizations that provide advice and professionally-managed solutions to individual and institutional investors. Now in their sixth year, MMI’s Industry Leadership Awards recognize innovation and achievement in the advisory solutions industry. The award winners are determined by votes among MMI member firms.
Merrill Lynch One improves the ability of financial advisors to deliver investment advice and solutions to clients, and gives clients and advisors access to Merrill Lynch’s investment advisory program through a single set of workflows, fees, paperwork and communications. The platform brings the firm’s five managed solution programs together into a single platform and navigation site.
In addition to creating tremendous efficiencies, Merrill Lynch financial advisors using the platform can more easily design and manage customized, goals-based investment solutions – with the flexibility to set asset allocation and manager selection within model portfolios. The phased rollout of Merrill Lynch One to the firm’s more than 13,700 advisors nationwide began in September 2013 and will continue throughout 2014.
