  • Access to more than 425 onsite wellness clinics across the U.S., including free health screenings and opportunities to earn up to $1,000 in wellness credits toward annual medical premiums.
  • 24/7 virtual care through Teladoc; more than 26,000 teammates and family members used Teladoc in 2025.
  • Cancer care: MSK Direct offers expert cancer care and support through Memorial Sloan Kettering, providing timely access to specialized treatment guidance.
  • Menopause & midlife health: Teammates and covered family members enrolled in a U.S. national medical plan can connect with providers across more than 30 specialties, join peer communities, and access educational resources and live classes at no cost through Maven.
  • Global Get Active! Challenge: more than 54,000 employees in 36 countries participated in 2025, collectively taking more than 14.5 billion steps.

 

Employee benefits: Emotional wellness

Emotional wellness is essential to overall health and workplace effectiveness. Bank of America provides teammates with education, benefits, and resources that make mental health a priority.

  • Virtual behavioral health care: Eligible employees and covered family members aged 13 and older have virtual access through Teladoc Health to licensed therapists and behavioral health specialists.
  • Our Employee Assistance Program provides up to 12 free in-person counseling sessions per issue per year, plus unlimited phone consultations.
  • Back-up care: We provide up to 50 days annually for children and adult dependents when regular arrangements are unavailable.
  • Life Event Services: Our internal, highly specialized team of over 140 specialists across more than 10 locations offer personalized support and resources to teammates when they need it the most, including navigating retirement or military transition, terminal illness, natural disasters, and more. In 2025, the team supported nearly 49,000 cases.
  • Sabbatical: Eligible teammates with 15+ years of service at Bank of America can take four to six paid weeks away from work in addition to regular vacation time; more than 36,000 employees have participated since 2023.
  • Parental leave: We provide 26 weeks for birth or adoption, including 16 weeks fully paid for eligible teammates.
  • Paid volunteer time and donation matching: Teammates can dedicate two paid hours each week to causes they care about; after 50 volunteer hours, employees may apply for a grant to support the nonprofit organization they serve.

Bank of America empowers financial wellness for its employees across life stages. We support the development of healthy financial habits — from managing everyday expenses to saving for long-term goals.

  • Minimum wage: Bank of America raised minimum wage to $25 per hour for full-time and part-time hourly positions in the U.S. in 2025.
  • Tuition assistance: U.S. teammates can receive up to $7,500 annually for eligible education expenses, with academic support resources available.
  • Retirement benefits: Eligible employees can receive up to 5% matching 4 0 1 K contributions plus a 2%to3% annual company contribution.
  • Sharing Success: Approximately 96% of Bank of America employees received awards totaling nearly $6.8 billion since 2017.
  • Family planning reimbursement: We provide up to $20,000 for adoption, surrogacy or fertility treatments (eligible programs vary by plan and location).
