Bank of America Names Lucas Giambelluca President of Twin Cities

Bank of America has named Lucas Giambelluca president of Bank of America Twin Cities.

As president, Giambelluca is responsible for connecting the banking and investment resources offered through the bank’s eight lines of business to people and companies across the Twin Cities. He will also lead the effort to deploy Bank of America’s resources to address social concerns, strengthen economic opportunity, and build strong communities, as well as support the health, safety, and engagement of local employees.

“Lucas has established deep relationships with teammates, clients and the community during his career at Bank of America,” said Brian Moynihan, chief executive officer, Bank of America. “In this new role, Lucas will help ensure we are a great partner as we continue to grow across the Twin Cities.”

In addition to his responsibilities as president of the Twin Cities, Giambelluca is the Business Banking Market Executive for Minnesota at Bank of America. With 20 years of banking experience, he leads a team of bankers that serves companies with annual revenues of $5 million to $50 million, providing a variety of financial solutions, including treasury, credit, investment banking, risk management, international banking, and wealth management. Lucas joined the bank in 2016, and throughout his banking career, has held client facing and leadership roles in multiple lines of business.

As a long-time resident of the Twin Cities, Lucas volunteers with several local nonprofit organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Heartland, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, his children’s school and other nonprofits focused on education, equality and economic empowerment. Within the bank’s employee networks, Lucas is a member of the Minnesota chapters of LEAD for Women and the Black Professional Group, serves as a mentor for teammates across the company and co-leads the Midwest Executive Council and Employee Satisfaction Council.

Lucas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Economics from Luther College. He resides in Saint Paul with his wife and two children.
